Who need Self-Defense? – Have you ever wondered why people train in the martial arts? Are they sadistic? Do they want to kill? What could a person possibly get out of wanting to learn to kick and Punch? I have study Taekwondo for many years in the year that I trained I have no I have learned more than simple Kicks and punches.
As most people know If they studied Taekwondo for any length of time, it is a Korean from martial arts. though its Tradition ancient, there is no single account of its existence. there is, however documentary evidence of specialised hand and foot fighting as far back as 37 BC. Who need Self-Defense in toady’s life?
There are many reasons why people choose to study Taekwondo to lose weight and get in shape, but self-confidence or develop self-discipline. Some people just want to learn to fight this is a whole reason why I started my training. Little did I know that the benefit I would reap endlessly.
As a person begins training in Taekwondo they become familiar, with certain qualities that they shouldn’t have to achieve such as: concentration, modesty, perseverance, self-control all respect and patience. These are all qualities that are within everyone that are within everyone. Taekwondo provides some basic training, this reason of self improvement into reality.
Although there are many benefits a person receives in Taekwondo the single most important benefit in the art of self-defense. In this age, it is imperative that we are able to defend ourselves if a situation arises. In the Taekwondo training a person will learn many different kicking and self defense techniques which have been proven to be very effective. If applied properly an attacker can be stopped with one well executive technique. I would like to stress that the easiest and safest way out of a confrontation is to talk your way out of unfortunately. This is not always possible.
If You are seriously interested in getting shape, building your self confidence learning patience or whatever, then I would suggest taking up Taekwondo. As for self-defense, who needs it? After all, we are never the whole to get attacked it’s always the other person. Maybe you should recommend some lessons them.
